Peruski Mrs. Marie "Mamie" K. Peruski, 87, of Ubly, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2006, at Huron Medical Center of Bad Axe. Marie was born November 13, 1918 in Detroit to the late Lawrence and Theresa (O'Parka) Lamke. She married Frank J. Peruski on November 7, 1939 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Parisville. He preceded her in death on January 11, 1984. She attended the Maurer Country School and St. Mary's Catholic School. She was a homemaker all her life. She loved to cook, go to dances, and spend time with her grandchildren and senior friends. Marie is survived by her children, Richard (Chris) Peruski, of Ubly, Agnes Peruski and her special friend, Chub Shubel, of Ubly, Eugene (Denise) Peruski, of Bad Axe, Jerry (Karen) Peruski, of Caro, Dennis Peruski and his special friend, Cathy Hansen, of Argyle; seven grandchildren, Kathy Spencer and her husband, Joe, of Ubly, Randy Peruski and his wife, Nancy, of Ubly, Renč Parks and her husband, Bill, of North Carolina, Alice Peruski, and Michele Peruski, both of Bad Axe, Michael Peruski, of Snover, Steven Peruski, of Ubly; four great- grandchildren; one great greatgrandson; her brothers and sisters, Cass Lamke and his wife, Ruby, of Bad Axe, Elmer Lamke, of Ubly, Eugene Lamke and his wife, Mildred, of Ruth, Evelyn Susalla and her husband, Jake, of Ubly, Arlene Longuski and her husband, Jerry, of Ubly, Richard Lamke and his wife, Barbara, of Ubly; one sister-in- law, Irene Lamke, of Bad Axe; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two infant children, Tom and Mary Peruski; two brothers, Ervin Lamke and Ray Lamke; two sisters-in-law, Harriet and Beatrice Lamke. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2006, at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly. The Rev. Joseph Griffin, pastor of St. John Catholic Church of Ubly, will officiate. Burial will be in the St. John Catholic Cemetery in Ubly. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today and from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home of Ubly.
