Mr. Raymond J. Peruski, 77 of Ubly, passed away Friday,  Feb. 21, 2014, at Huron 
Medical Center in Bad Axe.

He was born on Feb. 23, 1936, in Ubly, to the late Jacob and Anna (Zulka) 
Peruski. He met and married the love of his life, Marie B. Danielski, Oct. 4, 
1958, at St. Mary Catholic Church of Parisville. 

Raymond attended Ubly High School. After high school Raymond worked for Nestles 
Company in Ubly and then for General Cable Company in Cass City until he 
retired. Raymond was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and also enjoyed working on 
cars, painting and drawing.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Marie; two children, Derek Peruski of Ubly and 
Andrea (Rick) Fox of Cass City; one brother, Ernest (Hilda) Peruski of Lapeer; 
two sisters-in-law, Gertrude Peruski and Rose (Richard) Maikrzek, both of Ubly; 
and one brother-in-law, Wes Irons of Drayton Plains.

Raymond was preceded in death by one daughter, Darla Peruski; one sister, Evelyn 
Irons; and one brother, Melvin Peruski.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday,at Good Shepherd Parish, 
St. John Catholic Church in Ubly. Rev. Charles Hammond will officiate. Burial 
will be in the church cemetery in the spring.

Visitation will be from 2 until 9 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. Monday at 
the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly.
