Gertrude Peruski

Gertrude R. Peruski, 87, of Jeddo and formerly of Minden City, died Saturday, 
Feb. 1, 2003, at Mercy Hospital of Port Huron.

She was born March 29, 1915, in Bad Axe, daughter of the late Frank and Frances 
(Briolat) Pelot.

She married Lawrence Peruski on Nov. 29, 1947, at St. Mary Catholic Church of 
Parisville. He preceded her in death on Dec. 11, 1987.

She was a graduate of the eighth grade at the Minden country school. She helped 
on the family farm, was a life long member of St. Mary Catholic Church of 
Parisville, and she loved to do canning and gardening.

She is survived by one daughter, Margaret Coburn and her husband, Thomas, of 
Croswell; three granddaughters, Angela Delage and her husband, Phil, of 
Sterling Heights, Shelley Dennison and her husband, Doug, of Lexington, Julia 
Seamen and her husband, Eric, of Lexington; one great-granddaughter, Samantha 
Dennison; one great-grandson, Shawn Dennison; one sister, Agnes Erdman of 
Marlette; three sisters-in-law, Eileen Pelot of Minden City, Marie Peruski of 
Ubly, Winnie Peruski of Sterling Heights.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Monica Pletta; and one brother, Herman 
Pelot.
