William John Peters
June 8, 1943 – January 26, 2006
William John Peters, 62, of Lake Orion, died Thursday, January 26, 2006, 
peacefully after a long battle with leukemia.  Beloved husband of Marlene; 
dear father of Connie (David) Little, of Lake Orion, William John II 
(Maria), of Rochester Hills, and Charles (Krista), of Macomb Township.  
Loving grandfather of Shana, Corey, William John III, Anne, and Kyle; son of 
Clara Peters and the late Roy; brother of Jane Osentoski, Emelie Heleski, 
Lucille Kubacki, Aleta Mattseon, James, Alan, Patrick, Brian, Kenneth, and 
the late Danny.  Mr. Peters was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 
and was retired from Oakland County Printing Department.  He was an avid 
sportsman who enjoyed the outdoors in many ways, including playing with his 
grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 30, 2006, at St. 
Joseph Catholic Church in Lake Orion.  Interment will be in East Lawn 
Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Lake Orion Chapel, 
Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home (248-693-8336).  Memorials may be made to 
Children's Leukemia Foundation or Special Olympics.  Huron Daily Tribune

Note:  Born to Roy & Clara (Hund) Peters.  Married Marlene Osentoski on July 
10, 1965 in St. Columbkille Catholic Church in Ubly.
