Julius Peyerk  
October 9, 1915 – July 21, 2001
Julius Peyerk, 85, of St. Clair, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 21, 
2001, with his family at his side after a short illness.  He was born October 9, 
1915, in Harbor Beach. He married Marilyn T. Howard on May 21, 1949, in Bad Axe.  
She died November 14, 1989.  He retired from Carpenter's Local 1067.  He was a 
member of St. Christopher Catholic Church, the Ushers Club, Knights of Columbus 
Third and Fourth Degree and the L.O.O.M. 158. bHe loved gardening and 
woodworking. 

He is survived by his son, Charles W. (Darlene) Peyerk of Marysville; his 
daughter, Therese A. (Mike) Heiler of Gatesville, Texas; grandson, William 
(Stephanie) LaVere; grandsons, Scott, Corry and Matthew Peyerk; his 
granddaughter, Tonya McNamara; his great-grandchildren, Ariel, Alex and Andy; 
his brother, Frank (Jennie) 
Peyerk of Filion; his sister, Leona (Fabian) Lemanski of Harbor Beach; his 
sister-in-law, Edna Peyerk of Bad Axe; his very special friend, Alice Landra of 
Marysville; and his very dear friends, Gerald "Troop" and Carol Garety of St. 
Clair.  He was preceded in death by a daughter, Carole Peyerk; his parents; four 
brothers; and three sisters. 

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2001, in St. Christopher 
Church. Burial will be in Rapson Cemetery, Rapson.
