Frank A. Peyerk Sr.
March 20, 1879 - January 17, 1965
RAPSON - Frank Peyerk, 85, retired farmer of Sigel township, Huron County, 
died Sunday in Huron Community Health after a long illness.  Mr. Peyerk was 
born March 20, 1879 in Sigel township, of which he was a lifelong resident.  
He and Miss Mary Klama were married in 1899 at Parisville.  She died April 
29, 1937.  Mr. Peyerk is survived by six sons, Ray, Joseph, Edward and 
Anthony Peyerk, all of Har- bor Beach; Julius Peyerk, Port Huron, and Frank 
Peyerk, Filion; two daughters, Mrs. Anastasia Goniwicha, Bad Axe, and Mrs. 
Fabian Lemanski, Harbor Beach; 57 grandchildren, 86 great grandchildren, 
four sisters, Mrs. Rose Schefka, Mrs. Martha Bukowski and Mrs. John Glaza, 
all of Ubly, and Mrs. John Goniwiecha, Harbor Beach, and a brother, Cass 
Peyerk, Harbor Beach.  A sister, Mrs. Agnes Osentoskl, Ubly, died Jan. 3, 
1965. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's 
Catholic Church at Rapson by Very Very Joseph C. Kareba, OSB.  Burial will 
be in the church cemetery.  The remains are in Zinger Funeral Home, Ubly, 
where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday by St. Rita Altar Society 
and St. Ann's Mothers Guild of St. Joseph's Church.  Published Times Herald

Christenings Records show he was born in Paris Township.
