Clara (Smarch) Peyerk
July 28, 1910 - August 1, 1979
FILION - Clara Peyerk. 69, of 3340 Sullivan Road, died Wednesday, Aug. 1. 
1979, In Bad Axe after an illness of several months.  She was born July 28. 
1910, in Detroit, and lived In Bloomfleld Township.  She married Ray Peyerk 
October 29, 1927, in Detroit.  He died March 2, 1977. 

Mrs. Peyerk is survived by three sons. Elmer, Flllon; Donald, Washington, 
Michigan, and Robert, Harbor Beach; a daughter, Lorraine Nurawski, Utica; 
four brothers, Phillip Smarch, Port Huron; Stanley Smarch, Detroit; Chester 
Smarch, Marysville, and Joseph Smarch, Clio; a sister, Hedwig Visgh, Port 
Huron; 27 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.  A son, Leonard, died in 
1972. 

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday In St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 
Rapson.  The Rev. Stephen Sramek, M S B., pastor, will officiate.  Burial 
will be in the church cemetery.  Visiting hours in Zinger Funeral Home, 
Ubly, begin at 7 p.m. today.  A rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m. Friday 
in the funeral home.  Published Times Herald (Port Huron, Michigan) Thursday 
August 2, 1979
