Edward L. Peyerk
November 11, 1910 - May 24, 1996
Edward Peyerk age 85 of Harbor Beach passed away Friday May 24 1996 at his 
home following an apparent heart attack.  He was born November 11, 1910 in 
Huron County to the late Frank and Mary (Klama) Peyerk.  He and Esther 
Bucholtz were married January 27, 1936 in Rapson.  She preceded him in death 
July 20, 1973.  He and Gertrude Horiski were married July 6 1985 in Harbor 
Beach   She preceded him in death December 12, 1991.  He was a member of Our 
Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church, Harbor Beach. 

Surviving are 5 sons: Edward (Judy) Peyerk of Ray Township, Daniel 
(Charlotte) Peyerk of Shelby Township, John (Marianne) Peyerk of Ray 
Township, Kevin (JoAnne) Peyerk of Armada and Brian (Pony) Peyerk of Armada.  
A daughter: Terry (Ronald) Horiski of Ocala Florida, 29 grandchildren and 22 
great grandchildren, 4 step sons and 6 step daughters and 38 step 
grandchildren and 22 step great grandchildren.  2 brothers: Julius Peyerk of 
St. Clair and Frank (Genevieve) Peyerk of Filion.  One sister: Leona 
(Fabian) Lemanski of Harbor Beach.  He was preceded in death by 2 sons: Gene 
and Jerry Peyerk and by 3 brothers Ray, Joseph and Anthony Peyerk and by 3 
sisters: Anna Wruble, Anastasia Goniwicha and Theresa Weymouth.

 Funeral services were Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic 
Church, Harbor Beach with burial in the church cemetery.  Rev Edward 
Konieczka. pastor officiated.  Published Harbor Beach Times Thursday May 30, 
1996
