Anthony Phillip Peyerk
February 19, 1913 - May 8, 1989
Anthony Peyerk, 76, Rapson died Monday May 8, 1989 at Hurley Medical Center, 
Flint.  He was born February 19, 1913 in Sigel Township, son of the late 
Frank and Mary (Klama) Peyerk.  He married Cecelia Gentner October 9, 1938 
in St Joseph’s Catholic Church, Rapson.  She preceded him in death March 17, 
1988.  Mr Peyerk attended Swayze County School.  He farmed in Bloomfield 
Township since 1946 and was a highway construction worker for 16 years, 
retiring In 1975.  Mr. Peyerk was a lifelong parishioner of St Joseph's 
Catholic Church.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Virgil (Arlene) Klebba Port Huron, Mrs. 
Dave (Linda) Muter, Mt. Morris, and Mrs. William (Deanna) Mausolf, Whitmore 
Lake; three sons Melvin Peyerk Attica, Wayne Peyerk, Orlando, Florida, and 
Dale Peyerk, Harbor Beach; 19 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, three 
great grandchildren, two step great grandchildren;  three brothers, Edward 
Peyerk, Harbor Beach, Julius Peyerk, St. Clair and Frank Peyerk, Fillon; and 
one sister Mrs. Fabian (Leona) Lemanski, Harbor Beach.  Preceding him in 
death were a son Richard Peyerk May 20 1962; a great grandson December 1987; 
two brothers and three sisters. 

Services were 11 am: Friday at St Joseph's Catholic Church.  The Rev John 
Cotter, pastor, officiated.  Burial was in the church cemetery.  
Arrangements were directed through the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home, Ubly.
