Leo P. Pionk May 19, 1918 - March 22, 1966 Leo P. Pionk, 47, of 2815 Twentieth Avenue, an employee of Port Huron Golf Club, died Wednesday in Port Huron Hospital after a short illness. He was born May 19, 1918, in Harbor Beach. A veteran of World War II, he served with the 11th Tactical Air Squadron Command. He is survived by three brothers, Phillip J. and Robert F. Pionk, both of Port Huron, and Paul F. Pionk, Harbor Beach; a sister, Mrs. Lucy Ledsworth, Port Huron; two step-sisters, Mrs. Henry McAllister, Port Huron, and Mrs. Frank White, Ferndale, Michigan; two stepbrothers, Edward and Joseph Pionk, both of Warren, Michigan, and several nieces and nephews. The remains are in Arthur Smith Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday. Rev. H. E. Goldsboro, pastor of Free Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Allied Veterans Cemetery. Published Port Huron Times Herald Thursday March 24, 1966.
