Esther Eva (Glaza) Polega 
May 11, 1920 - July 24, 2012
Esther Eva Polega, 92, of Kinde, died Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Saginaw St. 
Mary’s Hospital.  She was born on May 11, 1920 in Parisville, the daughter of 
the late Edward and (Martha Danielski) Glaza. She and Edward Polega were 
married January 28, 1939 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Parisville.  Edward 
preceded her in death on April 28. 1974.  Esther was retired from the Huron 
Medical Care Facility.  She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Dwight, 
as well as a member of the St. Mary’s Altar Society and the Kinde Senior 
citizens. She loved gardening.

Esther is survived by her children, Jeanette (Henry) Kubacki of Kinde, 
Christina (John) Baker of Essexville, and Melvin (Marie) Polega of Bay City; 
grandchildren, Brian, Joseph, and Gregory Wisneski, Edward Polega, Melissa 
Ososki, Pamela Perkins and Mark Kubacki; and seven great-grandchildren.  She 
was preceded in death by one son, Carl; four brothers, Sylvester, Albert, Frank 
and Julius; and two sisters, Edith and Eva.

Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. on Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in 
Dwight.  Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and from 9 to 10:30 
a.m. on Friday at the Knoblock Funeral Home. There will be a parish vigil 
service at 7 p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home.
