William George Prentice
February 22, 1933 - February 7, 1998
ST. CLAIR TWP. - William G. Prentice, 64, of St. Clair Twp., died Saturday, 
February 7, 1998 in Mercy Hospital.  He was born Febr 22, 1933 in Frankfort, 
New York.   He married Florence Visga on September 15, 1954 in Ohio.  Mr. 
Prentice was a licensed home builder. 

He is survived by his wife, Florence; five children, Karen and Lenny 
Willard, Kathy Prentice and fiance Doug Dorland, William and Debbie Prentice 
Jr., Richard Prentice and fiance Sue Armstead and Robert and Melanie 
Prentice; step-daughter, Pat and Brian Washburn; and step-son, David M. 
Diem; seven grandchildren, Randy and Becky Washburn, David Allen Diem, Jill 
Lynn Washburn, Nachole Pauli, Christina Baker, Jennifer Prentice and William 
Prentice; two brothers, Robert and Mary Prentice and Ray and June Prentice; 
and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by a daughter, 
Penny Louise Prentice, a grandson, Michael Todd Prentice, his mother, Gladys 
Prentice and a sister, Carol Prentice.  Private graveside services will be 
in Riverlawn Cemetery, Marysville.  Arrangements were by the Marysville 
Funeral Home.  Published Times Herald (Port Huron, Michigan) Monday February 
9, 1998.
