Victor Michael Priemer  
May 25, 1913 - September 10, 1961
RUTH-  Victor M. Priemer, World War II veteran and farmer of Sherman township, 
Huron County, died Sunday in Veterans Hospital at Ann Arbor after an illness of 
six years.  Born May 25, 1913 in Detroit, Mr. Priemer came in 1924 to Sherman 
township.  He served in the Medical, Corps during World War II and of in took 
part in the invasion of Normandy.  He also served in Germany.  He was a member 
of Parisjville VFW Post No. 5,740; Huron County Chapter No. 56, Disabled 
American Veterans, and Ruth Council No. 3823 Knights Of Columbus. 

He and Miss Lucy Holdwick were married October 20, 1948.  Mr. Priemer is 
survived by his widow, a daughter, Linda, who lives with her parents, his foster 
father, Alfred L. Priemer, Ruth, and a sister, Mrs. Raymond Holt, Millington, 
Mich. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 9:30 a. m. Thursday in SS. Peter and Paul 
Catholic Church by Rt. Rev. Msgr. Frank W. Kaufmann.  Burial will be in the 
church cemetery with military rites.  The remains will be in the Zinger Funeral 
Home at Ruth after 1 p.m. Tuesday.  The Rosary will be recited at 8 p. m. 
Tuesday by Knights of Columbus and at 8 p. m. Wednesday by Monsignor Kaufmann.
