Pulcer, 83, of Ubly, passed away on Friday, March 26, 2010 at the Huron Medical Center in Bad Axe. She was born on June 9, 1926 in Ubly, to the late Stephen and Anna (Hammerle) Schmitt. She married Bernard J. Pulcer on June 26, 1948 at Most Holy Trinity Church in Smith Corners. He preceded her in death on Aug. 30, 2003. Pearl was a graduate of the Kelly Country School. She was a domestic housekeeper. She also farmed with her family and husband until the mid 1980s. She was a former member of the Huron County Farm Bureau. She was a lifelong parishioner at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Smith Corners, where she was a former Altar Society member. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, crocheting, attending Danny O’Donnell concerts and visiting with her family and friends. Pearl is survived by her three daughters, Gloria DeChane and her husband, Bruce of Elkton, Sandra Micklash and her husband, Art of Bad Axe, and Dawn Pulcer of Shelby Township; four grandchildren, Heidi Mausolf and her husband, Keith of Minden City, Sean Gleason and his wife, Cathy, of Appleton, Adam Micklash and Kyle Micklash, both of Bad Axe; two step-grandchildren, Mike DeChane and his special friend, Mindy McMullen of Bay City, Dennis DeChane and his wife, Lisa, of Bay City; three great-grandchildren, Michael and Hailey Mausolf, Sarah Gleason; three step-great- grandchildren, Owen, Madelyn and Nina DeChane. She was preceded in death by one sister, Charlotte Glaza, and one son-in-law, Patrick Gleason. The funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at Most Holy Trinity Church in Smith Corners. The Rev. Robert Howe, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation was at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly from 1:30 to 9 p.m. on Monday, March 29, 2010 and will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2010. There was a parish vigil service on Monday evening at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are requested to the Family Discretionary Fund.
