Pulcer, 77, of Ubly, passed away Saturday, Aug. 30, 2003, at the Huron Medical Center of Bad Axe. Bernard was born on July 25, 1926, in Rapson, to the late John and Agnes (Tschirhart) Pulcer. He married Pearl Schmitt on June 26, 1948, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Smith Corners. Bernard graduated from 8th grade at the Maurer School. He worked at Bad Axe Grain Company and farmed on the family farm. He was a lifelong member of Holy Trinity, a member of the Holy Name Society and a former usher. He was a member of the Parisville VFW Post No. 5740. Bernard is survived by his wife, Pearl of Ubly; three daughters, Gloria DeChane and her husband, Bruce, of Elkton, Sandy Micklash and her husband, Art, of Bad Axe, Dawn Pulcer of Shelby Township; four grandchildren, Heidi Mausolf and her husband, Keith, Sean Gleason, Adam and Kyle Micklash; two step-grandchildren, Michael and Dennis DeChane; one great-grandson, Michael Mausolf; three sisters, Ann Morell of Ubly, Betty Maurer of Ubly, Arline Abraham and her husband, Sylvester, of Bad Axe; one brother, Raymond Pulcer and his wife, Donna, of Harbor Beach. Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2003, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church of Smith Corners. The Rev. John Killop, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery with military honors provided by the Parisville VFW Post No. 5740. There will be a rosary by the Holy Name Society at 8 p.m. tonight at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home of Ubly. Visitation will be from 1:30 to 9:30 p.m. today and from 9 to 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
