Jerome R. Puvalowski  
August 19, 1960 – March 25, 2006
Mr. Jerome R. Puvalowski, 45, of Bad Axe died Saturday, March 25, 2006.  Jerome 
was born on August 19, 1960 in Harbor Beach to the late Frank and Sylvia 
(Pawlowski) Puvalowski.  He married Roxane M. Wolfe on November 9, 1985 at St. 
Mary’s Catholic Church in Parisville.  Jerome was a 1977 graduate of Ubly High 
School.  He was a certified duct cleaner and owner and operator of Country Air 
Duct Cleaning for ten years.  Jerome was a member of the Moose Lodge in Rapson, 
the Thumb Sportsman’s Club in Bad Axe and Pheasant’s Forever.  He enjoyed 
hunting, especially deer hunting, planting flowers and being outdoors with 
Mother Nature.  Jerome loved being with his daughters and all children.

He is survived by his wife, Roxane of Bad Axe; three daughters, Sarah, Renee and 
Kathrine all at home; five brothers, Bernard Puvalowski and his wife, Betty, of 
Ruth, Leonard Puvalowski and his wife, Patricia, of Macomb Township, Raymond 
Puvalowski and his wife, Joyce, of Ruth, Eugene Puvalowski and his wife, Joann, 
of Utica, Robert Puvalowski of Macomb Township; two sisters, Eleanor Messing and 
her husband, Norman, of Carsonville, Beatrice Tschirhart and her husband, 
Richard, of Berkley; two godchildren, Richie Tschirhart and Kimberly Pionk; 
mother-in-law, Maxine Wolfe of Bad Axe; father-in-law, Dale Wolfe and his wife, 
Nancy, of Elkton; three sisters-in-law, Barbara Pionk and her husband, Marvin, 
of Bad Axe, Pamela Brown and her husband, Anthony, of Goodells, Polly Hessling 
and her husband, Melvin, of Bad Axe; two brothers-in-law, Michael Wolfe of 
Elkton, Timothy Wolfe and his wife, Cindy, of Ubly; and many nieces and nephews.  
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and John Puvalowski; one 
sister, Joann Puvalowski and one infant brother-in-law, Allen Dale Wolfe.
Funeral services for Jerome will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at 
Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly. The Rev. James Carlson, pastor of St. 
Joseph Catholic Church in Rapson, will officiate.  Visitation will be from 1:30 
to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until the service time at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at 
Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly.  Published March 27, 2006 HURON DAILY
