Isadore Lucas Pyrek July 28, 1918 - November 4, 1985 Isadore Pyrek, 67, Gagetown died Monday, November 4, at his residence after an apparent heart attack. He was born July 28, 1918 in Paris Township, son of the late John and Victoria (Palach) Pyerk. He married Angeline Glaza, January 22, 1944 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Parisville. She preceded him in death June 9, 1975. He married Helen (Miller) Murawski August 16, 1982 at St. Agatha's Catholic Church, Gagetown. He farmed in Paris Township until 1965 and worked at Michigan Lumber and Box Plant, Elkton. He lived in the Bad Axe area from 1965 to 1975. He was a resident of Gagetown since 1981, and a member of St. Agatha's Catholic Church. Surviving are his wife, Helen; six daughters, Mrs. John (Margaret) Koroleski, Filion, Mrs Edward (Theresa) Schipinski, Filion, Mrs. Victor (Christina) Wyka, Fraser, Adeline Harris, Hamtramck, Mrs. Kirk (Doris) Freeman, Pigeon, and Mrs. John (Susie) Jaber, Detroit; one son, Ira Pyerk, Kinde; 15 grandchildren; seven stepdaughters, Kathleen Tomlinson, Midland, Linda Murawski and Rose Murawski, both of Austin, Texas, Mrs. Douglas (Magdeline) Gray, Gage-. town, Mrs. Donald (Joyce), MacMillan, Bad Axe, Mrs. Martin (Marian) Bakan, Guam, Mrs. Jeffrey (Suzan) Maxson, Gagetown; three stepsons, Andrew Murawski, Owendale and Peter Murawski and Felix Murawski, Conroe, Texas; and 14 step grandchildren. Services were held 11 a.m. Thursday, November 7 from St. Agatha's Catholic Church. The Rev. Julius Spleet, pastor, officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were conducted by the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home, Ubly. Published Minden City Herald Thursday November 14, 1985.
