Mrs. Xavier Respondek
Mrs. Sophia Ann Respondek, 53, Sigel twp life long resident of Huron County died 
Thurs noon in Bad Axe General hospital following a long illness. She is survived 
by her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Irene Watchowski, Van dyke; Mrs. Helen 
Tono, Hamtramck; Mrs. Rita Champagne, Bad Axe; son Lawrence, Bad Axe; three 
grandchildren, her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Ignatz Lemanski, Bad Axe, three brothers 
Lee, Clarence, George Lemanski, Bad Axe; one sister, Mrs. D Majestic, Ubly. The 
remains are in the MacAlpine Funeral home. Funeral service will be held at 9 
a.m. Mon from Sacred Heart Cath ch. Msgr Charles A Roark will officiate with 
burial in Colfax cemetery. Rosary devotions will be held at 8 p.m. Sun.
