Joseph Rinehart
Psychiatric Patient Commits Suicide
Joseph Rinehart, 54, of 2620 Home, reportedly committed suicide yesterday by 
hanging himself with his own belt in a psychiatric ward in San Joaquin General 
Hospital. Rinehart's body was discovered by hospital attendants, who were 
preparing to transfer him to Stockton State Hospital. Coroner's deputies 
said Rinehart apparently looped the belt around his neck with a slip know, then 
tied the loose end to the top ring at the foot of the bed. Rinehart, who was 
admitted to the hospital Tues, is survived by a sister, Mrs. Martha Schwoerer of 
Stockton (CA). The body was taken to DeYoung Memorial chapel.
