Huron Daily Tribune, The - October 16, 2008
  Vincent George Roberts, 78, Harbor Beach, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 
2008 at Harbor Beach Community Hospital.
  He was born on December 17, 1929 in Grindstone City to the late Jacob and 
Mary (Siemen) Roberts.  He and Leona(Miller)were united in marriage on June 5, 
1948 in Rapson.
  Vince was a member of Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church and the OLLH 
Knights of Columbus Coucil #11432.  Vince was a mason worker for many years 
and took pride in his work.
  He is survived by his wife, Leona; children, Ernest Roberts, Port Hope, 
Kathryn (Salvatore) Palombo, Sterling Heights, Marleen (Edward) Buzenski, 
Centerline and Richard (Cathy)Roberts, Clinton Twonship; eight grandchildren; 
eight great-grandchildren and siblings, Mary (Richard) Hartman, Indiana, 
Shirley Booms, Harbor Beach, Bernice Messing, Yale, June Pawlowski, Harbor 
Beach, Joyce (Harold) Pleiness, Port Hope, Bernard (Doris) Roberts, Harbor 
Beach, Agnes (Joe) Petruk, Arkansas and Gladys (Joe)Page, Davison; one sister-
in-law, Stephine Roberts, Navada.
  He was preceded in death by his parents: brothers, James Roberts and Jerome 
Roberts; sisters, Annie Winkel, Genevieve Dahlke, Rose Anstett and twin 
sisters.
  Funeral mass was held on Saturday, October 18, 2008 in the Our Lady of Lake 
Huron Catholic Church of Harbor Beach.  Father William Spencer officiated, 
with burial taking place in the church cemetery.
  Arrangements were handled by the Ramsey Funeral Home, Harbor Beach.
