Anthony J Roberts
Harbor Beach, Jan 8 - Anthony J Roberts, 58, Sand Beach Twp farmer, world War I 
veteran and lifelong resident of Huron Co, died today in his home after a long 
illness. 

Mr. Roberts was born Aug 28, 1895 in Paris Twp,(MI) He and Miss Amelia Frank 
were married in 1919 in Ruth. They moved in 1920 to their present farm. Mr. 
Roberts is survived by his widow, Amelia, three daughters, Misses Alice and 
Doris Roberts, who live with their parents, and Mrs. Irene Pawlowski, Ferndale; 
five sons, Wilfred, Harbor Beach; Raymond, Port Hope, and Delbert, Kenneth and 
Earl, who live with their parents; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Koschnitzke and Mrs 
Helen Leneway, both of Port Huron; three brothers, Jacob, Harbor Beach, 
Walter, Detroit, and Leonard, Alpena, MI and 7 grandchildren. Funeral services 
will be held at 10 a.m. Mon in Our Lady of Lake Huron Cath ch. Rev James J 
Marvin will officiate. Military burial services will be conducted in Rock Falls 
Cemetery. Remains are in Burton E Ramsey funeral home where Rosary devotions 
will be held at 8 p.m. Sunday.
