William A Rogers
Bad Axe, Feb 28 – William Allan Rogers, 11 day old son of Mr. & Mrs. Kirk 
Rogers, was found dead in bed this morning beside his mother. Undersheriff Roy 
Buerker and Coroner Alden A MacAlpine investigated. Coroner MacAlpine said the 
child was accidentally suffocated sometime during the night under bed covers. 
The remains are in the MacAlpine funeral home where services will be held 
Sunday. The child is survived by his parents, six brothers, Gary, Kenneth, 
Robert, Richard, Philip, and Glen; three sisters, Judith, Joyce and Bonnie and 
grandparents, Mr & Mrs Charles Weitzel and Mr & Mrs George Rogers, all of Bad 
Axe. The child was born Feb 17.
