He was born January 17, 1927 in Harbor Beach, son of the late Leo & Clara (Booms) Roggenbuck. He married Bertha Schafer November 23, 1963 in Sandusky. Mr. Roggenbuck served his country in the U.S. Army. Charles was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Marlette and the K of C of Sandusky. He farmed most of his life and sold Pioneer Seed for 32 years in Sanilac County, retiring in 1999. H e enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his wife Bertha; sons, Roy and Claudia Roggenbuck, of Marlette, Larry Roggenbuck, of Lansing and Dale Roggenbuck, of Houston, Texas; brothers, Harry and Dolores Roggenbuck, of Helena, Carl and Carol Roggenbuck of Port Hope, Earl and Brenda Roggenbuck, of Bad Axe, Orville and Lucille Roggenbuck, of Snover and Vincent and Phylliss Roggenbuck, of Snover; sisters, Edna Roth, of Bad Axe, Rebecca Groll, of Littleton, Colorado, Anita Plummer, of Utah and Lula Clark, of Utah. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Glenn and Jerome Roggenbuck and sisters, Aletha Romzek and Monica DeYoung. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2013 in St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Marlette, with Fr. Andrej Boroch officiating. Burial will be in the Mooretown Cemetery in Snover. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday, June 7, 2013 at the Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette, and from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. Rosary service will be at 7 p.m. Friday night at the funeral chapel. Memorials may go to the donation of your choice. Arrangements are by Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette.
