Raymond John Roggenbuck
January 19, 1918 - March 7, 1985
Raymond J. Roggenbuck, 67, Sigel Township died Thursday March 7 at Harbor 
Beach Community Hospital after a short illness.   He was born January 29, 
1918 in Bloomfield Township, son of the late Frank and Gertrude (Messing) 
Roggenbuck.  He married Leona Mazure May 21, 1949 at St. Joseph Catholic 
Church, Rapson. She preceded him in death April 4, 1979.  He was a member of 
St.  Joseph Catholic Church and Huron County Farm Bureau.  He served In the 
U.S. Army during World War II in Europe and Asia.

Surviving are three daughters Mrs. John (Nina) Cunningham, El Paso Texas, 
Mrs. Daniel (Kay) Van Erp, Ubly and Miss Joy Roggenbuck, Detroit; one son 
Mark, at home; three grandchildren; four brothers, Bernard, Ruth, Clarence, 
Port Hope, Franklin, Warren, and James, Harbor Beach; three sisters Mrs. 
Martin (Frances) Jemec, Harbor Beach, Mrs.  Stanley (Lucille) Guitar, 
Ossineke, and Miss Anna Marie Roggebuck, Richmond.

Services were 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church.  The Rev. Cecil 
O’Donnell, pastor, officiated with burial in the church cemetery.  Zinger-
Smigielski Home, Ubly were in charge of arrangements. Published Harbor Beach 
Times Thursday March 14, 1985.
