A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11AM Wednesday, June 18, 2003 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton St., Davison, MI, Rev. Fr. Andrew Czajkowski celebrant. Burial in St. John Cemetery. Mrs. Rosinski will lie in state at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 E. Davison Rd., where the family will receive visitors 1-4 and 6-9PM Tuesday . On Wednesday, she will lie in state at the church from 10AM until the time of the Mass. A Rosary will be prayed 7PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Genesys Hospice Care Center, 7280 S. State Rd., Goodrich, MI 48438. Josephine was born in Mayville, MI on October 25, 1905. She was the twelfth of the thirteen children of Charles and Josephine (Klama) Goniwicha. Josephine will be remembered always as a beautiful woman who put others first. She enjoyed life and touched everyone she met. Josephine was married to Joseph Casimer (Grzelak) Rosinski on June 29, 1929. He preceded her in death on February 22, 1967. She is survived by five children, Richard Grzelak of Davison, Daniel Rosinski of Flint, Walter (Mary Ann) Rosinski of Swartz Creek, Diane (Thomas) Fleming of Ann Arbor and Annette Edwards of Davison. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Joseph (Edie) Rosinski of Whiteman AFB, MO, Cathleen (Kelly) Swift of Anchorage, AK, Kimberly (Doug) Weimann of Archorage, AK, Meredith (Larry) Anderson of Grand Blanc, Margeaux Rosinski of Chicago, IL, and Malcolm Fleming of Ann Arbor. She was delighted with her six great- grandchildren, Alexis and Lauryn Rosinski, Zachary and Lily Weimann, Jaden Swift and Josephine Grace Anderson. All of them love her deeply. Nieces and nephews and extended family in the Detroit area, in the Thumb area of Michigan and in Buffalo, NY also survive Josephine. Her neighbors, the Bass's and the Schoenauer's, members of the Altar Society, St. Patricia's Guild and the 50-and-Over Club of St. John's Catholic Church in Davison were her dear friends. Josephine's family would like to thank the staffs of Genesys Hospital and Genesys Hospice Care Center in Goodrich and her special new friend, Harriet for their compassionate care in her final days. Josephine's family, her neighbors, friends and her church groups will miss her presence, but will carry the legacy of her love in their hearts forever.
