Frances (Osentoski) Rutkowski
September 29, 1914 - December 1, 1994
Frances Rutkowski, 80, of Ubly, died Thursday, December 1, 1994, at her home 
after a long illness.  She was born September 29, 1914, in Paris Township, 
daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Mazure) Osentoski.  She married Stanley 
Rutkowski on July 7, 1934 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Parisville.   He 
preceded her in death on October 30, 1990.  Mrs.Rutkowski attended county 
school and was a parishioner at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in 
Ubly for the past 56 years.

Surviving are two sons, Richard and his wife, Pat of Vassar and Marion of 
Ubly, eight daughters, Shirley Piontkowski and her husband, Henry, of 
Rochester Hills, Marlene Bukowski and her husband, Ronald, of Metamora, Reta 
Wehner and her husband, Larry, of Harbor Beach, Ilene Topolinski and her 
husband, Timothy, of Metamora, Betty Eckenswiller and her husband, Gerald, 
of Troy, Kathleen VanErp and her husband, William, of Canton Township, 
Darlene Rutkowski of San Mateo, Calif., Carol Lamke and her husband, 
Kenneth, of Detroit; a . sister, Regina Ekquist of Delaware; four brothers, 
Leo, Felix and Stanley Osentoski of Ubly and Sylvester Osentoski of 
Owendale; 34 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in 
death by a daughter, Virginia Rutkowski in 1951; four sisters, Albina 
Wojtalewicz, Mary Kubacki, Lucy Rutkowski and Theresa Grifka; and a 
grandson. 

Services were Monday at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Ubly. The 
Rev. John Mullet officiated.  Burial was in the church cemetery.  
Arrangements were conducted by the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home of Ubly.
