Stanley Rutkowski
December 11, 1908 - October 30, 1990
Stanley Rutkowski, 81, Ubly, died Tuesday, October 30, 1990, at Deckerville 
Community Hospital after a two-week illness.  He was born December 11, 1908 
in Minden Township, son of the late Frank and Catherine (Grifka) Rutkowski.  
He married Frances Osantowski July 7, 1934 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 
Parisville.  Mr. Rutkowski was a parishioner at St. John’s Catholic Church, 
Ubly, for 52 years, where he served as a former usher.  He was a former 
treasurer of Austin Township and former treasurer of Hogsback School.  He 
represented Austin Township at the Sanilac County Agriculture Stabilization 
and Conservation Service committee for 20 years. 
Surviving are his wife, Frances,Ubly; two sons, Richard (Pat) Rutkowski. 
Vassar, and Marion Rutkowski, Ubly; eight daughters, Mrs. Henry (Shirley) 
Piontkowski, Rochester Hills, Mrs. Ronald (Marlene) Bukowski, Metamora, Mrs. 
Larry (Reta) Wehner, Harbor, Beach, Mrs. Timothy (llene) Topolinskl, 
Metamora, Mrs. Gerald (Betty) Eckenswiller Troy, Mrs. William (Kathleen) 
VanErp, Livonia, Miss Darlene Rutkowski, San Mateo, California, and Mrs. 
Kenneth (Carol) Lamke, Detroit; 34 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 
and three sisters, Mrs. Clements (Theresa) Miller, Fraser, Irene Rutkowski, 
Ubly, and Mrs. Frank (Rita Jozefacuk, Sterling Heights.  Preceding him in 
death were one daughter, Virginia Rutkowski In 1951; one grandson; four, 
brothers, John Rutkowski, Enick Rutkowski, Leo Rutkowski, and Martin 
Rutkowski; and two sisters, Dorothy Ulfig and Sylvia Cook.
Services were 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Catholic Church.  The Rev. 
Peter Gaspeny, pastor, officiated.  Burial was in the church cemetery.
