Ruth (Regina) C. (Bazinski/Basinski) Glaza Scheski
August 7, 1908 – February 4, 2001
Regina C.  Scheski, 92, formerly of 3200 Water St., died Sunday, February 4, 
2001, at the Portage County Health Care Center.   
Services will be at 11:30 a.m.  Wednesday at St.  Stephen Catholic Church, 
with Deacon Robert Hensen officiating.  Burial will be in Guardian Angel 
Cemetery.  (located at Hwy 10 East and Frontenac Ave., City of Stevens Point, 
Portage Co, WI.)  Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m.  Wednesday at the church 
until the services.   Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral home is assisting the family 
with arrangements.   In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be sent to 
St.  Stephen Church or the Sisters of St.  Joseph Convent.   

Mrs.  Scheski was born August 7, 1908, in Rosholt, (Wisconsin) a daughter of 
the late Valentine and Gertrude (Bronk) Basinski.    She was raised in the 
town of Sharon and attended rural grade school.   She was married to Leonard 
Glaza on March 4, 1930.  He died October 21, 1931.   She was married to Leo 
Scheski on August 13, 1941.  He died in 1962.   She retired from the food 
services at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.  She had previously 
been employed at a shoe factory in Milwaukee.   She was a member of St.  
Stanislaus Rosary Society.   

Survivors include one sister, Sister M.  Erasmus, Sisters of St.  Joseph 
Convent, Stevens Point; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.   
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Gertrude.
