Andrew Schulte,
Former Supervisor, Died Sunday
Harbor Beach – Andrew Schulte, 57, former supervisor of Sand Beach twp, died Sun 
in the Harbor Beach hospital following an illness of four weeks. Funeral 
services were held Thurs morning in Our Lady of Lake Huron Cath ch, Rev James J 
Marvin officiated. Mr Schulte is survived by his widow; six daughters, Mrs Anton 
Chateau, Detroit; Mrs Martin Weir, Port Huron; Mrs Jack Stapleton, Port Hope, 
and Misses Delores, Lorraine and Roseleen Schulte, who live with their parents, 
and five sons, Vincent, Harbor Beach, Raymond, Andrew Jr, Lawrence and Rudy, who 
live with their parents. 

Mr Schulte, a lifelong resident of Sand Beach twp, was born there Sept 19, 1889. 
He was Township Supervisor from 1931 to 1939 and previously served as Township 
Treasurer. In recent years, he was employed by the Huron Milling company.
