Mrs Geneva I Shine
Kinde – Mrs Geneva I Shine, 55, died unexpectedly Fri morning. She suffered a 
heart attack Thurs evening, Mrs Shine is the teacher at Morrison school in 
Dwight twp and taught school Thurs. She was born Aug 13, 1894 in Ruth. She 
married James Emmet Shine Dec 28, 1920. Surviving are her husband; two 
daughters, Mrs Mary Ann Ahearn, Bad Axe and Mrs Elizabeth Urquhardt, Detroit; 
three sons, Thomas, at home, Pvt Joseph Shine, Camp Wood, TX, Pvt John Shine, 
Camp Carson, CO; one grandchild; four sisters, Mrs L Hunsanger, Battle Creek, 
Mrs A Terbrack, Ruth, Mrs K O'Connor, Detroit, Miss Della Coyne, Detroit; three 
brothers, Joseph Coyne, Rochester, NY, Patrick Coyne, Ruth, and Harold Coyne, 
Berkley, MI. Mrs Shine was a member of MI Education association. Remains are in 
the Paul Hunter funeral home, Kinde. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
