Shubert, employee of the Holcraft company, Detroit, was at work with an electrical drill on the girder when he fell. William W. Wade, plant superintendent, and Harry French, Detroit, who were working near the scene of the accident, told Undersheriff Howard Lohr and Deputy William J. Williams they did not see him fall. His neck was broken and he died instantly, Coroner Arthur E. Smith said after a post mortem today. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Jennie Shubert; two sons, Harry and Ervin Shubert, and two daughters, Eleanor and Deloris Shubert, all of Marysville; two brothers, John Shubert, Bay City; and Ted Shubert, Port Austin ; three sisters, Mrs. Sam Kososki, Port Austin; Mrs. John Kosiba, and Mrs. Tde Nowiski, both of Harbor Beach; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Shubert, Ubly. Funeral services will be held at 9 a. m. Monday in St. Christopher's Roman Catholic church, Marysville. Rev. Fr. Leo J. Trese, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope cemetery.
