Ronald S. Siemen 
January 22, 1940- October 8, 2008
Ronald S.  Siemen, 68, of Harbor Beach passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 
2008 peacefully at his home under hospice care.   He was born on January 22, 
1940 to the late Sylvester and Magdalene (Essenmacher) Siemen in Harbor 
Beach.  Ron and Clarice Booms were united in marriage on May 7, 1960 in 
Helena.   Clarice preceded him in death on August 12, 2008.   Ron was a member 
of St.  Anthony’s Catholic Church of Helena and a member of the St.  Anthony’s 
Men’s Club.   Ron is a retired farmer and Michigan Sugar Company employee.   
He enjoyed fishing for bass, his garden, growing fruit trees, and a good game 
of euchre.   

He is survived by his children: Stephanie Mazure and her husband, Glenn, of 
Bad Axe; Gregory Siemen and his wife, Cindy, of Harbor Beach; Mary Messing and 
her husband, Wade, of Beecher, Illinois; Joseph Siemen and his wife, Audrey, 
of Harbor Beach; Matthew Siemen and his wife, Sandra, of Carsonville, and 
Angela Holdwick and her husband, Patrick, of Birch Run; 18 grandchildren; and 
two great-granddaughters.  He is survived by one brother, William Siemen and 
his wife, Betty, of Imlay City; five sisters: Marilyn Klama and her husband, 
Pete, of Richmond; Marie Helmreich and her husband, Ken, of Minden City; 
Pamela Sochacki and her husband, Rick, of Gladwin; Sherry Learman and her 
husband, Richard, of Bad Axe; and Julie Booms and her husband, Gary, of Harbor 
Beach.   Ron was preceded in death by his wife, Clarice; and daughter, 
Corrina “Corky” Siemen.

Funeral Mass for Ron will be at 10 a.m.  Saturday, October  11, 2008 in St.  
Anthony’s Catholic Church of Helena, with Fr.  William Spencer and Fr.  Peter 
Nwokoye officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
