Malcolm Smith
Malcolm Joseph Smith, 86, died Sun in his home in Bad Axe. He was born in Park 
Hill, Ontario, Can and came to Sheridan twp in 1868. He has lived in Bad Axe for 
41 years. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth and 4 sons, Hugh J Smith, former 
mayor of Bad Axe, A C, Kenneth and Leo Smith, all of Bad Axe, 18 grandchildren and 
2 great grandchildren. Mr & Mrs Smith would have observed their 55th wedding 
anniversary July 6. Funeral services will be held Wed at 9 a.m. from Sacred Heart 
ch with Rev Charles Roark officiating. Burial will be in Colfax cemetery.
