Find a Grave
Frank Sofka
September 29, 1842 – March 19, 1929
Frank Sofka died Tuesday noon at the advanced age of 84 years.  Infirmatives due 
to advancing years caused his death.  His funeral takes place this Friday at St. 
Mary’s Church, Parisville.  Mr. and Mrs. Sofka settle in Paris Township when 
they emigrated to America.  Some years ago they retired from their farm to live 
a retired life in Ubly.  Last fall they cam to live with their daughter, Mrs. 
Peter Lemanski near this city.  Mrs. John Fisher is another daughter.  They have 
other children living in places outside of this vicinity.  From Find a Grave

Notes:  Son of Jacob and Mary (Myszk) Sofka.  Married Caroline Polk about 1865.  
Children:  Cecelia, Sophia, Anna, Vincent, Agnes, Susan, Bertha, Martin, Julie and 
Lucy.
