Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a. m. Thursday in St. John's church, Ubly. Rev. Fr. Edward J. Moitke will officiate. Burial will be in Parisville cemetery. Mrs. Sofka is survived by 72 descendants, including five children, Mrs. John Fisher, Minden City; Mrs. Michael Korblewski, Mt. Clemens: Mrs. Peter Lemanski, Minden City; Martin Sofka, Sheridan township, and Vincent Sofka, Ubly, 34 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. Mrs. Sofka was born November 19, 1845, in Germany and came to the United States when 11 years old. Later, she settled in Paris township, where she lived until she moved to Ubly about 13 years ago.
