Born January 17, 1882, in Paris Township, Mrs. Sofka was a lifelong resident of Huron County. She lived the last 24 years in Ubly. She is survived by her husband, a nephew, Clarence Gomoluch. Chicago, whom she reared; three brothers, Joseph Gomoluch, Filion, and Peter and Alex Gomoluch, both of Parisville. The remains are in Edward Zinger and Son funeral home where Rosary devotions will be conducted at 8.30 p.m. Thursday by Rev. Stanley A. Kilar. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday in St. John, the Evangelist, Catholic church. Father Kilar will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery at Rapson.
