Blaine R. Sosnoski
May 13, 1944 – May 14, 2008
Mr. Blaine R. Sosnoski, 64, of Bad Axe, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at 
Bay Regional Medical Center in Bay City.  Blaine was born on May 13, 1944 at 
home in Bloomfield Township to the late Ernest and Gertrude (Glaza) Sosnoski.  
He married Linda Parker on July 22, 1966 in Verona.  She preceded him in death 
on April 17, 2008.  Blaine was a graduate of Harbor Beach High School and St. 
Clair Community College.  He served in the U.S. Navy.  He worked at Tower 
Automotive, retiring after 43 years.  Blaine enjoyed golfing, hunting, 
fishing, playing cards and spending time at his cabin in Lewiston.  He truly 
enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren and friends.

Blaine is survived by one daughter, Tiffany Essenmacher; and her husband, Ken, 
of Ruth; three grandchildren, Amber, Brooklynn and McKenzie Essenmacher; one 
sister, Sandra Duda and her husband, Donald, of Harbor Beach; his father-in-
law, Jerry Parker of Harbor Beach; one brother-in-law, Gerald Parker and his 
wife, Bea, of Harbor Beach.  He was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, 
Dennis Parker and his mother-in-law, Madeline Parker.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 17 at the Smigielski 
Funeral Home in Minden City. The Rev. Joseph Griffin, pastor of St. John 
Catholic Church in Ubly, will officiate. Burial will be at the St. Joseph 
Catholic Cemetery in Rapson with military honors provided by the Burhams-
Hagedon American Legion Post #197 of Harbor Beach.  Visitation will be from 2 
to 8 p.m. on Friday and from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the Smigielski Funeral 
Home on Cass Ave in Minden City.  Memorials are requested to the Family 
Discretionary Fund.
