Mrs Herman Sternberg
Bad Axe Nov 9 – Mrs Caroline Sternberg, 91, wife of Herman Sternberg, 93, died 
today in her farm home in Bingham twp, Huron county. She was born March 13, 1858 
in Germany. Mr & Mrs Sternberg were married 67 years ago in Germany. They came 
to the U S several years later. Mrs Sternberg is survived by her husband, six 
daughters, Mrs Frank Schadd, Winegar, MI; Mrs Alma King, Hazel Park, MI; Mrs 
Hattie Graham, who lives with her parents; Mrs Adolph Schave, Port Hope; Mrs 
Paul Davert, Kawkawlin, MI and Mrs Albert Crary, Utica, MI; three sons, Conrad 
Sternberg, Charlevoix, MI; Oscar Sternberg, Bad Axe and Albert Sternberg, who 
lives with his parents; 32 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. The 
remains are in the Alden A MacAlpine funeral home.
