Robert Susalla 
March 27, 1891 - July 15, 1979
HARBOR BEACH - Robert Susalla, 88, of 403 Lytle Ave., died Sunday, July 15, 
1979, in Huron Medical Care Facility after a lengthy illness.  He was born 
March 27, 1891, in Paris Township.  He married Anna Moy September 12. 1916, 
in Parisville.  Mr. Susalla was a retired employee of Hercules Inc. 

He is survived by his wife; three sons, Norman, Harbor Beach; Wilfred, 
Trenton, and Irvin, Florida; six daughters, Mrs. Wilbur (Sylvia) Lindsay and 
Marie Dean, both of Port Huron; Lillian Pawlowski, Harbor Beach; Alice 
Kosal, Warren, Beatrice Krantz, St. Clair Shores, and Jo Anne Fisher, Bad 
Axe; two brothers, Xavier, St. Clair Shores, and Ira, Detroit; two sisters, 
Otilla Peplinski, Center Line, and Sophia Glaza, Bay City; 24 grandchildren 
and 24 greatgrandchildren.  A son, Joseph, died in 1966. 

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic 
Church.  The Rev. John Troester will officiate.  Burial will be in the 
church cemetery.  Visiting hours in Ramsey Funeral Home begin at 2 p.m. 
today. A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
