Joseph T. Susalla
May 4, 1921 - June 6, 1966
Joseph T. Susalla 45 died Monday in Veterans Administration hospital 
Saginaw.  Born May 4 1921 ln Parisville he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. 
Robert Susalla, Harbor Beach.  He was married on September 10, 1941 to Elva 
Hubbard, Port Hope and spent all his married life in Harbor Beach.  He was 
an employee of Hercules Inc. and the former Huron Milling Company; a veteran 
of World War II, a parishioner of Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic church and 
a member of Burhans Hagedon Post No. 197, American Legion.

Survivors are his wife, Elva; two sons Wayne, U.S. Navy, stationed in 
Washington D.C. and Gary of Pontiac; one daughter, Sharon at home; his 
parents; three brothers, Norman and Wilfred Susalla both of Harbor Beach and 
Irwin Susalla, Detroit; six sisters, Sylvia Lindsay and Mrs. Marie Dean both 
of Port Huron; Mrs, Lillian Pawlowski, Harbor Beach; Mrs. Alice Kosal, 
Warren; Mrs. Joan Fisher Bad Axe; and Mrs. Beatrice Krantz of St. Clair 
Shores.

Remains are in the Burton Ramsey Funeral home, where the rosary was recited 
on Wednesday evening.  Funeral mass will be held Thursday (today) at 10 a.m. 
with Father McEachin officiating, with burial in the church cemetery.
