Talaski-Kern dee33kern15@advnet.net@adv October 7, 2008, 4:15 pm Huron Daily Tribune, The William (Talaska) Talaski, 63, Rapson farmer, died Wednesday at the Hubbard Memorial Hospital after a brief Illness. Mr. Talaski was born April 13, 1897 to the late Stephen & Marcella (Skrzypinski)-Talaska. He was a lifelong resident of the Rapson area. William and Cecelia Andreski were married in 1921 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Dwight. Survivors are his widow; four sons, Jerry "Sig", Archie Talaski, Auburn, Michgian, Alvin Talaski, Detroit, Elmer Talaski, Filion; 20 grand children; two brothers, John and Alex Talaski, Bad Axe; three sisters, Mrs. Frances Miller, Bad Axe, Mrs. Emma Kanaby, Mrs. Barbara Prill, Detroit. Remains are at the family residence that is the first house east of Rapson on the left side of the road. Rosary will be recited there at 8 p.m. Thursday by St. Rita's Alter Society. Solemn Requiem High Mass will be recited FRiday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Rapson, by Very Rec. Joseph Karaba OSB and other priests.
