Bad Axe- The Huron Daily Tribune
Bad Axe - Zigmund Talaski, 57 died Monday, July 20, 1981 in William Beaumount 
Hospital, Royal Oak, after a short illness.
  He was born Dec. 23, 1923 in Bloomfield Township, Huron County.  He married 
Genevieve Roberts March 25, 1947 in Louisville, Kentucky.  
  Mr. Talaski was a retired Lincoln Township Farmer and Carpenter.  HE also 
worked for road construction for 20 years, retiring in 1973 because of ill 
health.
  He was a charter member of Rapson Sportsmen's Club.
  He is survived by his wife; six sons, Jerry, Elkton, Randall, St. 
Petersburg, Fla., and William, Alan, Andrew and Brian, all of Bad Axe; six 
daughters; Mrs. Charles (Dee) Kern Port Huron, Mrs. Keith (Deborah) Faber, 
Sebawaing, Mrs. Anthony (Donna) Indo and Delphine Talaski, both of Kinde, and 
Diane and Deirdre Talaski, both of Bad Axe; 11 grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. 
Cecelia, Bad Axe; and three brothers, Archie, Filion and Alvin and Elmer, both 
of Bad Axe.
  Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 
Rapson. The Rev. Stephen Sramek, O.S.B., pastor, will officiate.
  Burial will be in the church cemetary
  Visiting is in the Zinger Funeral Home after 3 p.m. today.  A rosary will be 
recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday in funeral home by the St. Rita's Altar Society 
and at 8:30 p.m. by the Daughter's of Isabella 

Additional Comments:
Mr. Talaski was preceeded in death by his father: William, two sons: David and 
Michael;one granddaughter, Anita Rys.
