Elmer T. Talaski
 July 26, 1932 – August 16, 2018
Elmer Talaski, 86, of Rapson, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2018, with his 
family at his side.  Elmer was born July 26, 1932, in Harbor Beach, son of the 
late William and Cecelia (Andreski) Talaski.  He married Dorlene Goniwicha in 
August of 1953 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Rapson.  She preceded him in 
death on March 17, 2009.  Elmer enjoyed spending time with his family, drives 
to the Sportsman's Club and the American Legion, playing euchre, pull-tabs, and 
keeping up his yard.  He made a lasting impression on everyone he met. 

Elmer is survived by three sons, Roger (Deb) Talaski of Bad Axe, Rick (Linda) 
Talaski of Bad Axe and Ron (Brenda) Talaski of Bad Axe; four daughters, Lori 
(Tony) Dubs of Kinde, Lynn (Dennis) Engelhart of Lake Orion, Lana (Jim) 
Lopiccola of Sterling Heights and Lois Talaski of Bad Axe; 18 grandchildren; 32 
great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Archie 
Talaski of Rapson.  Elmer was preceded in death by one son, Roy Talaski; two 
brothers, Zigmund Talaski and Alvin Talaski; and one grandson, Bradley Talaski 
Dubs. 

Services with military honors will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, 2018, at 
the Kaufman Funeral Home in Bad Axe. Friends may call at the Kaufman Funeral 
Home from 1 to 8 p.m. Saturday or from 10 a.m. until the service time at 11
