Gerald L Talaski
Bad Axe - Funeral services for Gerald Lawrence Talaski, 17, were held this 
morning, (Thurs) in Sacred Heart Cath ch. He was born June 28, 1939 in Bad Axe, 
and lived there all his life. Surviving are his parents, Mr & Mrs Lawrence A 
Talaski, a twin sister, Marie, and a brother, Duane, all of Bad Axe; his 
grandparents, Mr & Mrs Alex Talaski, Bad Axe and Mr & Mrs Joseph Kanarek, 
Detroit; Burial was in Sacred Heart cemetery. 

(another article tells of the car accident he was involved in.  also killed in 
that accident was Peggy Jeanne Picklo, 15, sophomore at Bad Axe High School.  No 
obit for her)

Killed in worst wreck in 2 years - ...Accident occurred on the Atwater road near 
the intersection of Jurgess road. Carole Allen, 17, Ubly died of a broken neck 
and head injuries and Ernest Gatza, 33, Ubly, died of a punctured lung. (no 
obits in scrapbook)
