Mr. Talaski was born Dec 18, 1930 in Bad Axe, son of the late William and Ceilia Andreski-(Talaska)Talaski. He and Miss Eleanor Hiller were married July 1, 1950 at St Joseph Catholic Church in Rapson. Mr. Talski attended the Rapson Rural Country School. He was a parishioner at St Joseph Catholic Church, a member of the Knights of Columbus Coucil #1546 of Bad Axe and of Bishop Babcock Assembly 4th degree. He was employed by Cooke Construction Co. for 20 years in Warren. He and his wife owned and operated the Talaski A.F.C. Home in Rapson. His special interests and hobbies included hunting, fishing, playing cards, building bird houses, and visiting with family and friends and most of all his granchildren. Surviving are his wife, Eleanor; three daughters, Linda (Dennis) Janowiak of Ubly, Laurn (Ron) Osantoski of Bad Axe, Lisa (Scott) of San Diego, California; four sons; Dale (Karen) Talaski of Sebewaing, Daniel (Colleen) Talaski of Rapson, Domonick (Karen) Talaski of Rapson, Donald Talaski of Rapson; 18 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two borthers, Archie Talaski of Rapson, Elmer (Dorlene) Talaski of Rapson; and several nieces and nephews. He was preced in death by a son, Gary Talaski and a brother, Zigmund Talaski. A Mass of the Resurrection will be offered 11 am. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rapson. The Rev John Weis, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A wake scripture will e offered at 8 p,.m. Sunday followed by a rosary offered by the Knights of Columbus Council #1546 of Bad Axe, at the MacAlpine funeral Home, Bad Axe. Friends and neighbors may call 1-9 p.m. Saturday, 1-9 p.m. Sunday and 9-10:30 a.m. Monday at teh funeral home. Memorials may be made to Lou Gehrigs Disease, the American Cancer Society, or in the form of donor's choice. Additional Comments: Born: Albinus John Talaski Omitted from Obituary, the wife of Archie Talaski(Phyllis). (Clarification) Obituary listed a deceased son by the name of Michael (along with Gary)who were deceased, that is Not Correct. Michael and David (not listed), were both nephews, deceased. Michael and David were the children of Jerry Sigismund "Zigmund" Talaski, Alvin's brother. So the name of Michael was omitted upon entering this Obit, Gary is the child of Alvin and Eleanor Talaski, by family researcher: Denise A Talaski-Kern.
