Richard (Dick) Tenbusch, age 67, of Deckerville, passed away Friday, May 14, 
2010 in the Deckerville Community Hospital.  He was born January 4, 1943 in 
Minden City, the son of the late Alphonse Sr. and Beatrice (Halifax) Tenbusch. 
He married Carol Rich on August 10, 1970 in Sandusky.  Dick enjoyed playing 
computer games, yard work, raising his family and his dogs.  He attended the 
Sandusky United Methodist Church. 

He is survived by his wife, Carol of Deckerville; one son, Rod Tenbusch of 
Sandusky; two daughters, Angela (Adam) Ellery of St. Clair, Tammy (Brandon) 
Burks of Sandusky; nine grandchildren; four brothers, Gerald (Jo) Tenbusch, 
Donald (Ann) Tenbusch, Charles (Marg) Tenbusch all of Florida, Gaylord (Faye) 
Tenbusch of Virginia; three sisters, Loraine (Frank) McCoy of Marlette, 
Marlene (Mike) Peruski of Florida, Karen (Dennis) Gentner of Ruth, several 
nieces and nephews, and one sister-in-law, Geraldine Tenbusch of Ruth.  He was 
preceded in death by one brother, Alphonse Tenbusch Jr. and one sister, Mrs. 
Joan Malloy. 

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Richard Tenbusch was held at the 
Apsey Funeral Home with Rev. Colin Stover who officiated.  Burial was in the 
Downing Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the family discretionary fund.

Funeral Home, Deckerville.
