June Ann (Norton) Tenbusch  
January 22, 1943 – November 7, 2018
June Ann Tenbusch, 75, of Harbor Beach, went home to be with the Lord on 
Saturday, November 17, 2018, at Covenant Harrison Hospital of Saginaw 
surrounded by her family.  June was born on January 22, 1943, in Lansing, the 
daughter of the late Earl and Hazel (Anderson) Norton.  She was united in 
marriage at Saint Anthony Church in Helena, to Floyd Bernard Tenbusch on 
December 29, 1959.  Floyd preceded her in death on April 19, 2013.  From a 
young age June enjoyed decorating cakes, quilting, painting and many other 
crafts.  She spent a lifetime sharing her creativity with many friends, family 
and acquaintances.  She decorated countless wedding, shower and birthday 
cakes.  She ensured each grandchild was given a quilt and oil painting which 
were bright, vibrant colors just like her personality.  She also had a love for 
playing cards.  She enjoyed spending time with her friends at the Bad Axe 
Senior Center.  However, her greatest joy came from spending time with her 
loving family.  A smile would come to her face when she was able to share her 
interest of crafting and her strong faith in God. 

June is survived by her three children, Paula (Chris) Winkel of Harbor Beach, 
Diane (Neil) Messing of Elkton, and Floyd (Lois) Tenbusch of Ruth; 10 
grandchildren, Anna (Mark) Klawon of Ubly, Wanda (Jeff) Skinner of Ubly, 
Richard (Naomi) Winkel of White Cloud, Minnesota, Angie (Scott) Krueger of Cass 
City, Nathan (Danielle) Messing of Owendale, Jenny (John) Learman of Harbor 
Beach, Jessica (Scott) Dalton of Grand Rapids, Corey (Rachel) Messing of 
Pigeon, Travis (Tiffany) Tenbusch of Ruth, and Nehemiah (Lauren Hass) Messing 
of Elkton; 19 great-grandchildren, Chelsey, Tyler, Emily, Isaiah, Dylan, 
Olivia, Boaz, Jasmine, McKayla, Jeremiah, Miriam, MaRiyha, Micah, Lydia, 
Violet, Shayla, Saige, Hazel and Jared; and one great-great grandchild Mason. 
Also survived by her siblings, Elsie Banghart of Florida and Clevland "Dan" 
Watson of Curtis.  And Brother-in-law Russell (Diane) Tenbusch of Port Huron, 
and Sister-in-law Marcela Walters of Harbor Beach, Sister-in-law Patricia 
Tenbusch of Jonesboro, Indiana, and several nieces and nephews.  She was 
preceded in death by her parents; Earl and Hazel Norton: Farther and Mother-in-
Law Allan and Bernice Tenbusch; Brothers-in-law Allen and Michael Tenbusch and 
James Walters and niece Mary Cipollone.  

Service will be held at the Kaufman Funeral Home in Bad Axe on Wednesday, Nov. 
21, 2018, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Doug Blackwell officiating.  Burial will be in 
Colfax Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Kaufman Funeral Home on Wednesday 
from 10 a.m. until the service time at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family is 
requesting donations to be made to the Family Discretionary Fund. If you wish
