Joan Lorraine (Carpenter) Tenbusch
December 3, 1924 - December 29, 1977
Mrs. Roman Tenbusch RUTH - Joan Tenbusch, 53, Eppenbrock Road, Sherman Township, 
died unexpectedly Thursday in her home, apparently from a heart attack. he was 
born December 3, 1924, in Troy.  She married Roman Tenbusch November 2, 1946, in 
Troy.  Mrs. Tenbusch was a member and past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of 
Parisville Post 5740, VFW.  She is survived by her husband; mother, Mrs. Ethel 
Carpenter, Ruth; and three brothers, Leroy Carpenter, Casey Creek, Kentucky,  
Donald Carpenter, Hillman, and Leo Carpenter, Lake Orion.  Services will be at 
10:30 a m. Monday In Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ruth.  The Rev. 
Francis Murray, pastor, will officiate.  Burial will be in St. Anthony's 
Cemetery, Helena.  Visiting hours at the Zinger Funeral Home, Ubly, will begin 
at 2 p.m. Saturday.  A Wake Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in the

Note:  Parents: Clifford & Ethel (Tappen) Carpenter.  Although the obituary states 
she married Roman on November 2, the actual marriage record shows they were 
married on November 5TH in Clawson, Michigan, not Troy.
