Barbara Dale (Makedonsky) Tenbusch
January 25, 1941 - June 5, 2008
Port Huron - Barbara D. Tenbusch, 67, of Port Huron, went to be with the 
Lord on Thursday, June 5, 2008 in Merritt Island, Florida with her family at 
her side.  She was born January 25, 1941 in Port Huron and was a lifelong 
area resident.  Barb married Larry L. Tenbusch on October 19, 1963 in St. 
Joseph Catholic Church. Barb co-owned and operated Mr. L's Lounge in Marine 
City in the early 1970's, Whiskey Petes in Port Huron for over 26 years, the 
Lighthouse Bar in Port Huron for over 10 years and was also part owner and 
operator of L&B Music, a music vending business, for a number of years in 
Port Huron.  In her earlier years she was employed at North American Benefit 
Association.  She was a member of V.F.W. Post 796 Women's Auxiliary and 
enjoyed fishing, dancing, video games and playing bingo and euchre. 

Barb is survived by her husband Larry L. Tenbusch of Port Huron; daughter, 
Lyn Marie (Mark) Terry of Fort Lauderdale, Florida daughter, Stacey Ann 
(Brian) Willis of Port St. John, Florida; grandson, Jackson Howard Terry; 
mother, Mary Makedonsky of Scottsdale, Arizona; sisters, Mary Jean "Jeanie" 
(John) Clark of Scottsdale, Arizona, Dorothy Ely of Port Huron; and several 
nieces, nephews, dear friends and other family members.  She was preceded in 
death by her father James G. Makedonsky. 

Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Catholic Church.  The 
Rev. Brian K. Cokonougher, Pastor, will officiate.  Entombment will follow 
in Mt. Hope Cemetery.  Visiting hours are 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. 
Thursday and Friday in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.  A Rosary will be 
recited at 7:00 p.m. Friday evening. Published Times Herald (Port Huron,
