Terbrack, 74, of Ruth, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at the Harbor Beach Community Hospital after a short illness. Clarence was born on April 5, 1934 in Ruth to the late John and Cecilia (Booms) Terbrack. He married Delores Gentner on April 19, 1955 at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Ruth. Clarence was an eighth-grade graduate of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic School in Ruth. He worked for Booms Silo’s for a few years. He then worked as a leader for Malloy (Masco) Manufacturing in Fraser for 40 years before he retired in 1995. Clarence and Delores then moved to Ruth in 1996. He was a parishioner at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Ruth. Clarence enjoyed raising poultry, gardening, playing cards, bingo, casinos and visiting with his family, grandchildren and friends. Clarence is survived by his wife of 53 years, Delores of Ruth; two sons: Ronald (Deborah) Terbrack of Mayville; Robert (Shirley) Terbrack of Utica; five daughters: Nancy (Gary) Windingland of Clawson; Susan (Richard) Fisher of Algonac; Karen (Robert) Larkin of Troy; Sharon Mildfelt of Washington, Michigan; Kathy (David) Pollock of Muskegon; 17 grandchildren: Timothy (Sarah) Windingland of New York; Joseph Windingland of Clawson; Yolanda (Peter) Licari of Sterling Heights; Brain Terbrack of Troy; Douglas (Amanda) Terbrack of Sterling Heights; Adam (Courtney) Terbrack of Sterling Heights; Kimberly Terbrack of Utica; Richard Fisher III, Bruce and Ethan Fisher, all of Algonac; Christine and Andrew Larkin of Troy; Justin and Austin Mildfelt of Washington, Michigan; Peter, Vincent and Valerie Pollock of Muskegon; three great- grandchildren: Ezra Urso of New York; Conner and Aiden Terbrack of Sterling Heights; two brothers: John Terbrack of Southgate; Donald (Nancy) Terbrack of Harbor Beach; five sisters: Evelyn Learman of Cass City, Rita (Arthur) Glaza of Bad Axe; Adelaide (Jerome) Block of Ruth; Alice (Kenneth) Sadro of Bad Axe; Rosalia (Richard) Holdwick of Bad Axe; brothers and sisters-in-law: Beatrice (Earl) Booms of Harbor Beach; Bernard (Marlene) Gentner of Ruth; Marie (Kenneth) Helmreich of Minden City; Raymond Gentner of Ruth; Sandra (Larry) Booms of Ruth; many nieces and nephews. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, John and Cecilia Booms; two grandsons; five brothers: Herbert, Marvin, Herman, Marius and Gerald Terbrack; three sisters: Jeanette Seidl, Matilda Johnson and Beatrice Glaza; father and mother-in-law, Bernard & Mary Gentner. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 27, 2008 at SS.Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Ruth. The Rev. Robert Paré, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:30 to 9 p.m. on Thursday at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home and from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday at SS. Peter & Paul Church. There will be of Daughters of Isabella rosary at 3 p.m. on Thursday and a parish vigil service at 7 p.m. Both services will be at the funeral home.
